Mahershala Ali attends Sci-Fi project ‘Sovereign’

The director of Science Fiction feature ‘Sovereign’ has picked Oscar winning actor Mahershala Ali for his new project.

Mahershala Ali, who received his second Oscar last week, has been invited by the director of the project Marc Munden to take part in his Sci-Fi feature ‘Sovereign.

The director has so far succeeded to win BAFTA awards three times. Munden is known for his work on the Hulu miniseries ‘National Treasure’, the sci-fi TV series ‘Utopia’ and the Amazon Prime Video series ‘Electric Dreams’. 

The flick is to be produced by Entertainment One and 21 Laps film production companies. The project will be financially supported by Entertainment One company.

 Mahershala Ali who received 2019 Oscar Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for ‘Green Book’ is an American actor who is a recipient of several awards, including two Academy Awards and a Golden Globe Award.
